IRIK exists for the opposite reason most clothing gets made today: not to be fast, or trend-led, or replaced next quarter. Every piece is built around fabric weight, construction, and fit first — questions of “does this last” before “does this sell this week.”

That shows up in decisions that don't always show on a hanger — heavyweight cottons chosen for hand-feel, garment-dyeing done after construction so colour wears in rather than washes out, seams reinforced in the places that actually take the strain of daily wear.

It's a smaller catalogue by design. Fewer pieces, worked on longer, meant to stay in rotation for years rather than one wash cycle.
